Today has been a blast! Before getting into the pool we ate some lunch. While we were there, we had the Spirit Stick given out to the G.I. God cabin that had some great cheers that blended English and Spanish together.
After lunch, things got interesting. The ninjas (that looked eerily similar to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) came back and did some training with the sensei. The 3 of them did so well that the sensei gave them a bamboo stick similar to a black belt. The Red Ninja however took this opportunity to try and take over camp. He challenged the Green Ninja for the camp and the Red Ninja won, OH NO! He stormed off and we don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow.
In the afternoon we got to get in the pool. Don’t be fooled, the water was really cold! But we didn’t let that stop us today. We all jumped in and played some games together. Then we had free swim time and rather than tell you how much fun we had, look at these pictures!!

Later in the afternoon, the campers got to do what they called a low ropes game. This activity allowed the campers to try to jump through the rope and see if everyone could make it through without hitting the rope. Most of the groups made it or got really close. The even cooler thing is that afterwards, the leaders used this activity as a spiritual application. Its great to see them take initiative and bring God into the activities.
