Hey there faithful followers, Monty here! I will be giving you an update on our last day of camp! We started the morning off with a delicious breakfast topped with the finest Panamanian coffee. After breakfast we transitioned into worship and and a time of camper share. During camper share they had each Pine Cove staffer come up to the stage individually to give the campers the opportunity to encourage our staff! Here are a few things that were said:

Maddy: “Thank you for sharing your testimony with us. You said you wanted to minister to girls, and we want you to know you did that for us.”

Jimmy: “When you would talk to us during Bible study, we may not have known everything you were saying in our heads, but we understood it in our hearts.”

Sara: “Thank you for praying for me. You are my little sister. I will never forget you. Love you.”

Karsyn: “When you come into the room and I’m like, “Karsyn!” And you’re like, “Miriam!” And then you have all your crazy dances but we love them. But when you prayed for me I felt the Lord’s love. Thank you. I love you.”

Elley: “Thank you for being my friend. I was nervous when I came because I didn’t have my friends. I love you my cinnamon roll. I will miss you.”

Megan: “I want to thank you for being there for me when I was sad. You mean so much to me and I will always remember you in my life. I will miss you so much and I love you so much.”

Magan: “You are always full of happiness, it is contagious to the entire camp. Thank you for always coming to us when one of us is sad and asking what’s wrong and praying for us. We love you and will never forget you.”

Mackenzie: “I want to thank you for always being there for me whenever I needed you. You have truly impacted me. You were always there for me when I was feeling alone. I love you and I will miss you so much. We will never forget you.”

Cameron “Coming into this week, I didn’t think it was possible to love someone in 5 days. You showed us that was wrong because of the love of God in your heart. I love you mi manito (brother).”

Needless to say there were many tears and laughter during that time. After camper share we had our last hour of camp activities. After activities we had lunch and spent the afternoon packing and cleaning cabins. We said our goodbyes and loaded the bus to Panama City! We are going to grab some ice cream and spend our last night with the Panama staff. It will be hard to say goodbye!

Tomorrow we will start the morning off with a 5am wake up call and a trip to watch the sunrise at the beach. We will then spend the day seeing and learning the history of Panama. We are so excited for our tourism day and look forward to spending time together and celebrating all that God has done this week. Be on the lookout for updates tomorrow and some fun videos that were filmed throughout the week!
