It is a new day and also the last day of camp for the first session. It is crazy that the first session is almost over. We are so thankful for the things God has already done for us and the campers. We pray for these kids as they will head home today and go back to typical life. Also pray for the things they learned here will stick with them and apply it to their daily life.

Last night we had another worship session. Erick led the worship session and he leads in a cool way. He will lead everyone in the worship songs and in between the songs he will add in tidbits of a sermon. They have typically talked about the songs and how God is expressed through them.

The cool part about last night’s worship was that during the breaks between songs they had campers come up to the front and explain some things that they had learned about camp. We loved that the campers were eager to share and not very shy.

After the kids got to speak as to what they learned, the Pine Cove staff had a chance to tell the campers what they had learned from them throughout the week. Again it was great to let the kids know that they were making an impact on our staff as well.

This morning we had pancakes for breakfast! The servers even did some syrup art on top of our pancakes. Similar to the cream designs in some coffee!

After breakfast the kids headed back to their cabins to do bible study. They are learning today that others come before themselves. We are really excited that they are doing this bible study because last night like we said, they expressed things that they had learned from the bible study.

At 10:30 we all met up at the soccer field for an all camp game. We played a camp wide soccer tournament. There were 2 teams of girls and 4 teams of guys. It was really fun and everyone got involved whether they were playing or cheering on the other teams.

Then at lunch we gave away the Spirit Stick to the G.I. God cabin with Will as their counselor. That’s two days in a row! We had burgers and French fries for lunch. Nothing like being at home! It was yummy.

Campers will be heading out this afternoon. We are sad to see them go but so excited for what God is doing in their lives. They are some great campers and God will use them for sure!

Yay,
The TI team
