Día Siete: Tourism

Posted Jan 9, 2017

Hey Everyone!

Today has been a jam packed day of tourism. We left after breakfast and headed to Panajachel. For lunch, we stopped at a beautiful restaurant and got to eat some typical Guatemalan nachos and black corn quesadillas. It was delicious!

We continued on our way for an unbelievable panoramic view of a lake surrounded by mountains and volcanoes. Driving through the country side is a continual reminder of how creative and powerful our God is.

Afterwards we got to do some shopping and eat ice cream dipped in chocolate. We ended the night cooking pupusas, hanging out, and playing games. Our first day of tourism has been a blast! We are excited to get to experience more of Guatemala tomorrow.
