Oh man what a blast we had tonight! After camp was over we went to the church of some of the staff from El Salvador. We were incredibly blessed by them. They had made an entire meal for us. Oh and we had some super great ice cream for dessert!

We also were able to tour the church, see inside and out, and see the view of the city from the top of their hill.

Then of course, since we are Pine Cove staff, we played some dance songs and got our bailar on.

We got to take group pictures to remember our time here in El Salvador.

Lastly, the national staff did a little routine before they gave us some awesome gifts. Denora spoke to us and expressed her gratitude for our team. She first thanked God for making this all possible. Also thanking us for giving our time to come here and serve. Hebrews 6:10 “For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.” Then we were each given a towel with the El Salvador flag on it, a large photo of the whole camp, and a bookmark full of words that we learned this week.

Jeff then thanked the staff for being so willing to learn. It was a joy to see their passion for the kids and teach them about God. We all prayed together one last time and said our goodbyes. It has been an honor to work with these staffers. We love them and are excited about what God is doing in El Salvador!
