Camping in El Salvador is over. It is a sad moment for us as a team. The past week has truly flown by! The kids left a couple of hours ago on the bus. Last session was definitely sad when the kids left but this time we don’t have kids coming tomorrow.

We will be heading back to Estados Unidos tomorrow. Don’t get us wrong, we miss being home a lot and in some ways we are ready to be home, but we’ve grown attached to El Salvador. We have built relationships with the national staff, impacted kids lives, and lived here for 10 days of our lives.

It is a bittersweet feeling to be leaving the camp today. We are staying at the Casa de Mision again tonight and will be hanging out with the national staffers one more time.

However, before we got to the Casa De Mision we had to make a cultural stop. We needed to get some things for the plane ride home, so what better place to go than….
