Back in San Salvador
We have arrived back in San Salvador tonight. The campers have left from camp. And we are tired!
Today was bittersweet as we were sad to see the campers leave. But we were also excited to look forward to our tourism day tomorrow.
Here are pictures of all of the cabins from the first session.
At lunch we had hamburgers and fries again! They are close to the same as in the USA but they use a mix mayo, ketchup, and a hint of pickle. Also they put cucumbers as a topping on them.
For the skit after lunch the ninjas came back. And the evil ninja challenged the top ninja to a battle for control of the camp. Instead, the sensei stepped in and battled him because he knew how important it was to save camp. The sensei fought and fought and ended up defeating the ninja by knocking him into the pool. YAY!!! Camp was saved and the sensei granted us all the honor of being ninjas!
When we got to the Mission House and dropped off our luggage. Then we went to a mall here in San Salvador to eat dinner. There were a lot of places to eat but we chose Pizza Hut. There were many options to eat. We saw a salad that was twice the height of the bowl that it was in! And it had a huge playground in it too! There were over 20 of us in our group and we took up the whole side of a room. We ended up getting 5 pizzas and by pizzas I mean these things were grande! They were probably 3 feet by 2 feet! We almost ate all of it.
Tomorrow will be our tourism day. We are not sure what we are doing yet but are excited to find out!
